TEE BALL 3 and 4 year olds

• Bases 55'          Pitching 25'

• All games will be played with Rag Balls (the League will provide these balls)

• Batters get 5 chances to hit the ball off the tee.  Ball must travel to designated line to be considered "in play"

• All games will last 50 minutes

• Offensive Team will bat their line-up until 3 outs are made.  If all batters have batted and 3 outs have NOT been made --teams will change sides

• All players present for the game must be in the batting line-up

• NO WALKS

• 3 coaches may be in the outfield (behind all defensive players)

• All players, up to 14 may be on the playing field.  Only 6 may occupy the "infield"

• All batters MUST wear a NOCSAE approved batting helmet with a NOCSAE approved face mask and chin strap.

• Catcher must wear a legal catching helmet with throat protector and mask

6 & Under Rules

• Bases 55'          Pitching Distance 25'
• Games will be played with an 11” 44 or 47 COR ball.  May use yellow or white.
• Unlimited substitution on defense
• Batters will get 5 chances to hit the ball fair.
• NO WALKS
• All games will last 5 innings or 50 minutes 
• Offensive teams may bat their line-up until 3 outs are made or 5 runs have been scored
• May use illegal bat
• All batters MUST wear a NOCSAE approved batting helmet with a NOCSAE approved face mask and chin strap.
• Catcher must wear a legal catching helmet with throat protector and mask
• 2 coaches may be in the outfield (behind all defensive players)
• All players MUST stay behind the 35’ arc until after the ball is HIT
• There will be no circle around the pitching rubber
• Defensive team must have an infield and an outfield
• All players present for the game must be in the batting line-up
• THE ADULT PITCHER MAY NOT TALK ONCE THE BALL IS IN PLAY -- UNTIL THE UMPIRE CALLS TIME.  AFTER ONE WARNING, THE NEXT RUNNER CLOSEST TO HOME WILL BE CALLED OUT.
• THE ADULT PITCHER MUST EXIT THE FIELD ONCE THE BALL IS HIT.  EXIT THE SIDE OPPOSITE THE HIT.

8 & Under Rules

• Bases 55'          Pitching Distance 35'

• Games will be played with an 11” 44 or 47 COR ball.  May use yellow or white.

• All players present for the game MUST be in the batting line-up
• 5 pitches OR 3 swings to hit the ball (players may strike out, no walks)
• Games will last 5 innings / 55 minutes OR until it is mathematically possible to win
• 5 runs allowed per half inning
• Must use an ASA legal bat
• All batters MUST wear a NOCSAE approved batting helmet with a NOCSAE approved face mask and chin strap.
• Catcher must wear a catching helmet with face mask and throat protector (optional to wear chest protector and chin guards)
• Umpires will call time, (when the ball is in the infield and all play has ceased)
• All players MUST stay behind the 35’ arc until after the ball is HIT
• There will be a circle around the pitching rubber.  When the ball enters the circle or when play has ceased TIME will called.
• NO STEALING  ---- Runners may lead off after the pitcher releases the ball.  If the runner touches the next base she is OUT. Runners leading off are at risk of being tagged out.           
• If the ball is not hit, players must return to the last base occupied.
• There will be NO BUNTING
• Runners can only score on a batted ball. 
• The pitcher (player) may have one foot in the pitching circle when the ball is pitched.
• THE ADULT PITCHER MAY NOT TALK ONCE THE BALL IS IN PLAY -- UNTIL THE UMPIRE CALLS TIME.  AFTER ONE WARNING, THE NEXT RUNNER CLOSEST TO HOME WILL BE CALLED OUT.
• THE ADULT PITCHER MUST EXIT THE FIELD ONCE THE BALL IS HIT.  EXIT THE SIDE OPPOSITE THE HIT.

10 & Under Rules  

• Bases  60'          Pitching Rubber 35'

• Games will be play with an 11” 44 or 47 COR ball.

• All players at the game MAY participate in the game
• 4 runs allowed per half inning
• Must use an ASA legal bat
• All batters MUST wear a NOCSAE approved batting helmet with a NOCSAE approved face mask and chin strap
• A child will pitch the entire game.
• A game will consist of 7 innings OR 1 hour and 10 minutes OR until a run rule is effective.  The run rule is 12 after 3, 10 after 4, and 8 after 5.
• Catcher must wear a catching helmet with face mask and throat protector and MUST also wear a chest protector and chin guards.
• Runners may lead off when the pitcher releases the ball.  Runners may steal more than one base at a time, including  HOME.  
• If a runner attempts to steal they are at risk of being tagged out.
• Infield fly rule IS IN EFFECT
• Batter may run on a dropped third strike (READ YOUR RULE BOOK)
• All  other ASA rules apply

12 - 14 - 16 & Under Rules  

• Bases 60'     Pitching Rubber 40'
• Only 5 runs allowed per 1/2 inning
• All batters MUST wear a NOCSAE approved batting helmet with a NOCSAE approved face mask and chin strap.
• ALL OTHER ASA RULES APPLY
